Getting the oppurtunity to do the visual essay on Obayashi's School in the Crosshairs was another great chance to showcase my long-running interest in Japanese film, history and culture.  Discussing the economic boom of the Japan of the '70s and '80s alongside Japanese idol music and city pop was another joy for me, and I was nominated a second year in a row for a Shelf Shock Rewind Award in the Best Visual Essay category.  You can order a copy of School in the Crosshairs here: https://cultepics.com/product/school-in-the-crosshairs-blu-ray-exclusive

Coming up, is perhaps my favourite film and visual essay I have done to date, and that is for the worldwide blu-ray debut of A Colt is My Passport.  Shishido Jo is one of my all-time favourite actors, and I think people will find this one to be mighty interesting.  I look forward to doing more work with New Wave Video - I am indeed working on their upcoming boxset release of Sion Sono's Love Exposure.  You can pre-order A Colt is My Passport here: https://newwavevideo.myshopify.com/products/a-colt-is-my-passport-blu-ray

Another thing producers/companies should understand when they hire me is that audio fidelity is important to me, ergo, I record my narration in professional recording studios with the help of some of the finest engineers in the business.  All of my work thus far has been edited by the incomparable Jonathan Zaurin.  His film Derelict from 2024 is a hard-hitting piece of British crime fiction.  Here is a trailer where yours truly is quoted:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzYYusirjWc

If you would like to order Zaurin's excellent film on blu-ray (where he kindly thanked me in the credits), you can order it from 101 Films here:  https://101-films-store.com/collections/red-label/products/derelict-2025-blu-ray
